Apple Pie

Ingredients for 6 people

flour 200 g

sugar 100 g

butter 75 g

one egg

about half a kilo of apples

half a glass of milk

one dose of baking powder for half a kilo

one lemon

Work the butter and sugar for about 10 minutes, add the egg yolk, flour, milk, grated zest of one lemon, the egg white beaten until stiff, and finally a sachet of baking powder (dose).

Pour the mixture into a buttered cake tin.

Take the apples you have previously prepared, peeled, cut into 6 wedge-shaped pieces, and cover the mixture, arranging the slices close to each other in a circle, in a spiral shape. Sprinkle a little sugar on top and bake for about three quarters of an hour.
